For 2000 years, Jewish women have been immersing in the mikveh before their wedding. This ceremony has been shared by Jewish women of all origins and throughout the generations.<\/p>

Though the nature of the ceremony varies from one community to the next, its essence remains the same:<\/p>

Marking the transformation from singlehood into marriage and family life.<\/p>

Immersing in the mikveh is an act of purification, meant to prepare both body and soul to the holy bond of matrimony.<\/p>

According to the Jewish Halacha, a woman who immerses in the mikveh throughout the marriage, will also enjoy fertility.<\/p>

Since ancient times and to this day, the bride\u2019s family members prepare a unique package of items for the mikveh. These items are given to her for the purifying and holy ceremony. In it, they usually include beautiful soaps, goldthread embroidered towel, a bejeweled comb and more.<\/p>

All items that assist through the immersing process itself, but also enrich the process and elevate it into a pleasant and joyful experience.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
